Henley Royal Regatta

Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships

The Grand Slam Title of Wimbledon comes to the South West of London every summer for two weeks featuring lashings of tennis, strawberries (plus cream) and good-natured queuing, at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships. Wimbledon is one of four annual Grand Slam tennis tournaments held around the world. This tournament has been running from 1877 and games are still played on the original playing surface, grass.

Goodwood Revival

The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.

The British Antiques Dealers Association (BADA) will launch a new collectors' show this autumn, bringing together 20 dealers for a curated collectors' event. The boutique or 'micro' fair named BADA Collection at The Lanesborough takes place across three of our private rooms from 5th - 8th October.

House & Garden Lunch with Robin West

Enjoy lunch in the Michelin-starred Céleste restaurant at The Lanesborough, and be entertained by polar adventurer Robin West.

As part of a collaboration between House & Garden and cruise line Seabourn, the event will take place on 11th October between 11.30am - 2.30pm, starting with a private talk in the hotel's spectacular St. George's Room.

Robin is in charge of all aspects of Seabourn's expeditions and will share his stories of both on- and off-shore adventures around the globe. The talk will be followed by a two-course lunch.
